5The Best Casio Exilim YetOct 21, 2010
By Beachbug
This is the 3rd Casio Exilim I have owned and I love it. This one replaces my Z75 which I accidentally ruined. The Z2000 has all of the features I loved with the Z75 and then some. This is such an easy camera to operate and it takes beautiful pictures and videos. Not only is it light weight but the battery is easy and quick to charge, holds a charge well and the SDHC card holds many pictures or videos. (The SD card does not come with the camera.) I have a Macbook Pro and love being able to remove the SD card, slip it in my computer and instantly download all my pictures. The LCD screen is very bright and does not wash out in sunlight as my previous model did. I love all of the new menu choices for picture types and it also has some very cool effects for photos such as oil painting, watercolor, crayon and movie effects, too. For the price, this is an awesome camera. It is so easy to slip in a purse or pocket and takes gorgeous photos as well.

5Great Camera for my Cruise!Jan 24, 2011
By Cindy Goetz "CeeGee"
I bought this camera at the last minute for a cruise -- my other camera had died and I wanted something small and compact. The best thing about it was that it took absolutely wonderful pictures, very sharp and clear and good color. It took great pictures indoor and out. My best results were with no flash, and there was usually plenty of light indoors to use this option. I also found that it was easy and intuitive to use without reading the documentation online or on the accompanying CD. The videos turned out well. My husband, who's pretty picky with his electronics, was impressed with both the photos and videos. My daughter wanted a new camera for Christmas so I bought her the Z2000 in another color. Now I hope it lasts longer than my previous camera, a Pentax OptIO, which died less than a year after I bought it.

3Yet another mediocre point and shoot.Jan 31, 2011
By Jondaman "Best Product Wins"
Got this camera not too long ago and the problem begins.
After using for about a month, we found out there were some dust or hair or something got stuck inside the camera lens. with the camera zoom out all the way, it will leave a blur black mark on the lower left of the screen.
We got it replaced with the Casio warranty since we couldn't return it to Amazon.
The image quality is very poor, the noise level is unbelievably bad (other cameras in this price range would probably suffer the same) at medium to low light. If you think about printing anything larger than 4x6", forget about it.
At bright light and well lit situations, this camera does its job well but so are hundreds of other cameras.
The make-up effect is nice to have, which filtered the imperfection of the skin and make the picture smooth. However, it also lose most of the details in the surroundings.
Overall, I will not recommend this camera to a friend nor will I buy it again if provided with an alternative.

5Great CameraDec 14, 2011
By Sean
I bought this for someone in my family as a gift and they love it. It is a great camera that takes crisp pictures. The price was good too. I would recommend it to anyone I know.

It was purchased about a year ago so it's still going strong.

1unbelieveable!! Casio made this kind camera LOSS FOCUS and Bad image processOct 28, 2011
By Yun Wang
This my third Casio EXILIM camera, I am very familiar for using this camera. the first two are 3M, and 7M pixels camera, the photo quality for that two were okay. The EX-Z2000 is a 14M pixels camera, but the photo quality even poor than previous two. I spent many time to deal with Casio tech support guys and paid for shipping cost and sent in for inspect and repair, they replace the lens, but the quality still poor. I asked to make change but Casio said need to have at least three time fix, other wise it is not qualify for replace.
The key funding is Casio's image process software is poor, when it was a low definition image, it was okay, but come to high definition image, the software couldn't handle it, so don't buy high resolution camera from Casio.

It took me over one month to deal with Casio, the problem still no be fixed. This new camera won't work for me event for one photo at good quality.

Since Casio said that is normal quality for this kind camera, it lead me start to study on photo quality with different brand cameras, I fund other manufacture photo quality is much better than Casio, the conclusion of the test is Casio camera is a toy, if you want have good picture, don't buy Casio product.

I tested Sony, canon, Casio at same angle, for same image, setup at same photo size, after took pictures, zoom in to see the detail, Casio's quality like crab. I zoom in the picture, is went to 1/3, the image get really bad, other camera can goes to 3/4 and still better than Casio's
ny one who like have a sample. I can share with you.
