 Bad product, worse serviceFeb 08, 2012

Uneven printing right out of the box & would not print PDFs at all - Xerox 'tech support' said that PDFs can only use the "print to image" setting, which is documented nowhere - the uneven printing (some lines of text dark, some light, all on the same page) remained - Xerox said that I'd have a new cartridge within two days - a week later, I received a cartridge that was obviously (because of the multiple shipping labels) returned by more than one customer and was broken, filthy, empty, and unusable - I was promised a new cartridge the next day - three days later, a possibly new cartridge arrived and did not solve the uneven printing problem - Xerox promised that a technician would call within a day to make an appointment to fix the printer - no technician ever called - the next week, a purported technician arrived without notice and when I was away from the office, did whatever he did, and left saying "good to go," which he was but the printer was not - the printer continues to behave as before.
Perhaps Xerox will soon fail. If I were a shareholder, I'd sell. This company cares nothing for its business customers. On the bright side, while waiting for somebody at 'tech support' to take your call, you will hear that JD Powers thinks that Xerox is top-drawer.

Fast, easy to use, Did a little research for a fast laser printer and this one floated to the top as a great bang for the buck. It is.
